It all still feels like a fever dream, but I’m so incredibly thankful to have been a part of this project! Not only performing and marching in the @macys Thanksgiving Parade, but also getting to experience and be inspired by the many dancers that I look up to has felt so special. I continue to learn so much and I’m so grateful to have shared this space amongst friends and other artists ❤️ Thank you @ilovedancenyc for this opportunity for the memory books 🥹

Some studio time called for more creating and making~ made a collab piece with @call_me_dani_ and it was a lot of fun bouncing around ideas and movement to this song 🙂↕️ wanted to also share a bit of the process, making a first draft and sessioning with @shanaxml ❤️ enjoy us getting into this contemporary style bag haha

YIPPEEEE 🥳 first ever solo pop-up in the books 🥹 I’ve kept it as a goal for myself to keep creating and to keep pushing with making choreography. I’ve been so hesitant and scared to do so under the belief that I’m not a “good enough” dancer to create. So I’m so grateful for all the friends who came by to support and learn with me through this process of creating 🥹❤️ hoping to make many more!!

So many thoughts we’re running through my mind when I was first asked to choreograph this piece. I am very thankful for @shawnbibledancecompany in giving me this opportunity to highlight K-Pop music on the stage, and I took this opportunity to push myself in sharing my own artist voice. I’ve been very nervous with presenting work like this as I never know what the audience would think. It’s very vulnerable, and I kept thinking about the outcomes. But I knew overall that I wanted this piece to have feel good energy and liveliness. I wanted these dancers to equally feel the passion and excitement that comes with creating, and ultimately the joy I get in having this creative freedom to share work. This won’t be the last, and I hope to grow my confidence in making work. This process has been a long journey, but I’m so glad that I took a chance to challenge myself and to let myself go with having fun with dance. This caption is already so long, so I thank you for reading all the way through. As much as I’m grateful for everyone involved in putting this piece together, I’m so thankful for anyone taking the time to view my work ❤️ Love you forever @mvilledan and thank you @shawnbibledancecompany again for the chance to create again!

A long time coming, but finally sharing work that I’ve had the pleasure of making 🥹 A more long winded essay of my thoughts throughout this process will come later, so for now, enjoy @mvilledan absolutely slaying this piece 🙂↕️
