Riding in AIDS/LifeCycle has been a dream of mine since I moved to LA and went to the LGBT Center. 11 years later when they announced this would be their final ride, I knew I had to jump on my last chance to participate. And I’m so, so glad I did. Thank you to everyone who donated to help me meet my fundraising goal, and everyone who cheered me on and joined me (and listened to me complain) while I made long distance bike riding a big part of my life the last 8 months. Joining the 30 year old ALC community for its final SF to LA ride was such a privilege, and I’m excited to join them on future (shorter!) rides again, hopefully soon. Don’t wait to check those things off your bucket list.
