We invite all of you, from all over the world, to now join us in honoring the life & legacy of Joni Lamb tonight at 8:30pm ET on @Daystar.

We will be streaming during the broadcast on the Daystar App & across all social platforms.

We know so many of you have been waiting with eager hearts to honor and remember Joni today, and we are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love you’ve shown.

Due to the length of the service, we have moved the broadcast to 8:30pm ET tonight so we may share the service in its entirety and fully honor Joni’s life, legacy, and the many special moments shared by family and friends.

We truly believe the messages and worship throughout this service are going to minister to your heart. So many moments were filled with encouragement, hope, and the comforting presence of God in such a powerful way.

For so many years, Joni asked guests what Heaven was like… what they saw, what they felt, and what awaited us on the other side of eternity.
 
She spoke about Heaven with wonder, hope, and expectancy, not because she was escaping this life, but because she truly believed in the promise of the next one.
 
Now she’s experiencing the glory of the promise, and while our hearts deeply miss her, we rejoice knowing she is seeing the beauty she talked about so often, fully in the presence of Jesus. What a reminder that for those who know Jesus, this world is not the end. We have something glorious to look forward to.

Joni knew the importance of salvation and sharing the Gospel was her top priority. She often would stop whatever she was doing, with no hesitation, to ensure those around her had an opportunity to accept Jesus.

Joni’s Memorial Service will take place at Gateway Church’s Southlake campus this Monday, May 18 at 3pm, following the viewing at 1pm - both open to the public.

Come worship the Lord with us and hear from those closest to Joni about a life well lived. Each of you are a part of her legacy and we would be honored for you to join us for this special service.

Joni Lamb lived her life pointing people to the Light that shines in the darkness. 

Through every storm, every battle, and every victory, her message remained the same: God is not through with you. Your past does not define your future. It’s never too late for healing, hope, and the Father’s love.

She reminded millions that they were created for such a time as this… and that on the other side of this life is eternity. More than anything, she wanted people to know Jesus and be ready to meet Him.

Her voice may be missed here on earth, but her legacy lives on in every life changed by the hope she carried so boldly. And just like she always said… “It’s a good story coming up.” 🤍

We pause to honor the life and legacy of Joni Lamb.

Our world is different this week, missing Joni Lamb and all the joy, wisdom, and passion she brought to our lives. Her heart was for souls. Her vision was for the nations. Through Daystar, the Gospel reached homes, hospital rooms, prisons, and hearts across the world.

But in the midst of our grief, we are here continuing the work she loved so much. We know she would remind us, “There is so much more to do!” Though the flags fly at half-mast, the mission she carried continues… today, tomorrow, until every soul has been reached with the love of Jesus.

Her legacy lives on in every life transformed.

We know that she is in the presence of Jesus, reunited with Marcus, and receiving her reward for a beautiful life lived in surrender to the Lord.

Joni has been an inspiration to millions, but most of all to her family and all of us at Daystar. She has modeled what it means to be fearless, to be bold, and to stand for righteousness even when it’s unpopular. Her love and compassion for people were unparalleled. She will be so greatly missed.

We are thankful that we do not grieve as those who have no hope. And until we see Joni again, we will continue in this mission of taking that hope, that promise, to the whole world.

Righteous Anger belongs to the Lord alone 😤
