Another day in Austin and another day of great Jiu Jitsu. We were lucky enough to be invited to spend the day with @nicholasmeregali before he opens his new academy @alkimijiujitsu and it was awesome. I couldn’t be more excited to be popping up at @sohohouse in one of my favorite cities, Austin, Texas, for a special member dinner 6/5 to help kickoff the Summer season.
Even more exciting, starting June 1st, Che Fico is bringing a taste of California to Soho House Austin with an exciting new restaurant residency.
Located on Music Lane along South Congress Avenue, Soho House Austin offers the ideal setting for members to gather and enjoy Che Fico’s rustic, market-driven menu featuring handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, and more. Running through December, the residency brings a bit of Northern California hospitality and flavor to the Soho House community.
Expect to see our signature Che Fico dishes accented with the local craft and flavor that makes this city so special and exciting.
I will be sharing a lot more from this unique residency and we can’t wait for what Austin brings all Summer long.

We are looking for a serious culinary leader to help lead one of San Francisco’s most exciting new restaurants.
Via Aurelia is a modern Tuscan fine dining restaurant on the waterfront at Mission Rock, located on the ground floor of Visa’s global headquarters. The restaurant is already open to acclaim, with a large private dining program, two PDRs booked 5–7 nights a week, and a rare opportunity for the right chef to make a major name in San Francisco.
This role requires Michelin-level leadership experience, strong financial discipline, event experience, and the ability to lead a high-performing kitchen with organization, urgency, and clarity.
Compensation:
$120K–$140K depending on experience and title
Up to 15% bonus
Health care
401(k) with company match
Relocation negotiable
