I call up my brother @emadrashidi (who has shot a majority of my music videos of the years) and tell him about this new song I need to shoot a video for. The West Virginia State Fair was going on, so we thought it would be cool to shoot it there. We get some awesome footage and while filming Emad looks at me and says “man, I wish you would’ve given me a little more heads up and I could’ve called my friend in Montana who has a big farm, I’m sure she would’ve let us shoot there.”…..so I said, “call her. let’s do it.”….less than 72 hours later we’re on a flight to Bozeman and the rest is history.

When we were editing there was so much cool footage from the WV State Fair that it just didn’t feel right to omit it, so we did the rewind mid video and ran it back allowing both locations to shine. (You know me, I’m always going to represent where I’m from)

YOOO!!! WHAT?? Man, I’m smiling ear to ear typing this. “Dutton Ranch Freestyle” is officially certified PLATINUM!!! WTF!!! This is crazy. Whether you had this song in rotation or just pressed play on it once, YOU had a part in this—and I couldn’t have done it without YOU!!! So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. As an independent artist, this is one of those bucket list moments that I’ve dreamed about for so long and it’s finally happened. surreal. WE did it. I could write a novel about what this means to me, but just know that I wake up every day truly blessed that I get to make music for a living and I never take it for granted. There are so many people who helped bring this record to life and have been a part of my journey.
