After many months , days , hours and minutes without rest
last nights show culminated in one of the most special nights of my life by the grace God. Bringing @jlo ‘s South Side Story to life is my biggest musical blessing given. To be able to conduct this amazing 20 piece orchestra ….To have the opportunity to blend styles from my musical heroes , Leonard Bernstein , to Gershwin , from Hip Hop , Rock to Latino , into one cohesive show, took a great deal of workand a GREAT team … Special thanks to my crew who worked tirelessly to make this happen @tyriesrolfe @iamd3l @sethstachowski …. To the best band I have ever been a part of @thestreeter @will_birckhead @mrklynik @jpcastillo.music @therealcamanthony @mar.keis @itskyanafanene …..the GREAT @steviemackey , you are one of one …. our local string players , Brass and everyone else that contributed to this show …..I’ve no words for you all…except for my eternal gratitude. Glory be given to God for without HIS strength none of this would have been possible. 🙏🏾

I have not the words to describe the loss that I feel in my heart upon the passing of my friend , musical mentor and uncle,The Great Quincy Jones. I still remember this talk as if it was yesterday. I hear you saying to me “DAVID, you have a responsibility to leave it better than I did”. Q, no one did it better than you. You still continue to teach us all to aspire to be the great musician and person that you are. You are always in my heart and never forgotten. I love you, Q ❤️

Last night we were blessed and played to an audience of 80,000 people in Heroes Square Budapest. Thank you Budapest for an unforgettable experience! My deepest gratitude to a great team of people , band , dancers , crew and technicians who make it happen day in and night out.To my brother @ricky_martin it’s been a blessing to make history again and again with you and it’s hard to believe we have been doing it for 25 years…Te quiero mucho. To my wife @vane.colmenarez for always supporting me and our family. You are my heart and love of my life…Eres ❤️ And last but certainly not least , all the glory to God for the opportunity to do what we love to do and to bring joy to so many people all over the world.
