Here’s Dan Kelly and I in London, at the beginning of rehearsals for this weekend’s shows - Friday 7th at @thepbc and Saturday the 8th at @howlermelbourne.

Joining us - Dan Kelly’s Regional Crisis - in Sydney will be Dave McCormack & The Polaroids, while Baby Blue and Spod will be our special buds in Melbourne. Clearly there is a lot riding on this, as anything short of a spectacular show will mean twenty five years of rehearsal down the drain. Please come along and be a part of what can accurately be described as “history”.

BIG UPS to my cuz Dan Kelly @dankellysongs for the release of his new LP “GOLDFEELS”. Dan and I have been makin’ n’ playin’ the musics together since the turn of the century, and I was honoured to keep that ball rolling as producer/engineer/bass-plucker on this fine collection of odes to our funny and frightening planet. We’re playing an instore at @rocksteadyrecords at 3:30 tomorrow, should you wish to get up close and personal with our sonic newborn.

R.I.P James Chance. A genuinely original artistic force. I was fortunate enough to be asked to be a “Contortion” alongside Jules Pascoe and Nick Martyn for a bunch of shows around Australia in 2016 (thanks Sean), which were a total gas. He was a sweet, eccentric and bewitching guy who kept me well and truly on my toes. I will drink a Baileys in your honour tonight, sir.

Congratulations to @peterbibbymusicband and @spinningtopmusic for getting this firecrackin’ LP out into the world. Was an absolute pleasure to helm this one. Invest whatever the opposite of hush money is into Drama King and avoid the orange jumpsuit of life. X

Hearty congratulations to Bad Dreems on the release of their 4th LP “Hoo Ha!” Thank you dreemers, for having me along as your producer. Had a blast. And big-ups as always to Idge @soundpark_idge for his work in his solid-vibe studio, as well as our man in Tottenham @a.cupp for his stellar knob-job (mixing).

Martin Frawley’s “The Wannabe” LP comes out today. It’s chock full o’ quality pop, and features Dan Kelly, Steph Hughes, Nik Imfeld and myself in the band.
