UH Goes to the MATCH Featuring works by seniors Caitlin Gamel and Sydni Lee, two works that were featured in the American College Dance Association. Lee’s work was honored to be performed at the ACDA Gala. Gamel presents “Depths of Devotion” inspired by cave divers, who face an alarming amount of risks, knowing every dive might be their last. Lee presents “Polyphonies” The performers use their own voices to mimic a metronome and produce individual sounds, creating an interplay of order and improvisation that reveals how structure shapes, and is reshaped by, human expression.
