I’ve been cutting family and friends’ hair for over 10 years, with @milliesuukyi taking the crown as my most loyal customer. We’ve bleached, dyed and snipped all kinds of looks over the years and it’s quality time we cherish. On our sister trip to Japan this September we visited @mokuhankan to see their beautiful woodblock prints, I absolutely fell in love with this piece titled ‘Hairdresser’. It perfectly captures what it’s like to sit in my kitchen (often in pyjamas) and chat away whilst bringing Mill’s latest vision to life. I felt inspired to create my own illustration, showing the sisterhood of the home salon ♥️

7 years ago today, my wonderful friend Jen @runningjenbaker and I launched @outoftheboxcards - a feminist greetings card company with an aim to challenge stereotypes and expand horizons
Back then I was still in art school, and a lot has changed in our lives since. I’m proud to have illustrated all of our designs, and worked alongside Jen to use Out of the Box as a force for good!
We’ve struggled to juggle it with life at times, especially whilst dealing with career challenges and a lack of financial security - but I’m delighted to say we’re not going anywhere 😊
Thank you Jen, for being such a brilliant business partner and role model x
Happy 7th Birthday to us 🎈

Had the pleasure of illustrating the cover artwork for 'Where To Be A Woman' - a new podcast from @bbcworldservice presented by @sophiasgaler and scaachi.
From Body image to maternity leave and fair pay - they want to know what women around the world think their countries are getting right. And then they'll decide what they like and add it to their ideal imaginary place to be a woman.
Available on @bbcsounds, Spotify and Apple 🌟

I’ve been meaning to make an Etsy and have a go at selling some prints for a long time, and with a bit of encouragement I’ve finally done it. To start with I have a small selection of illustrations available on there, which you’re very welcome to check out ☺️ Link in bio! 🌻
Unfortunately I’ve got off to a rocky start, as in the process of getting set up on the Etsy seller app, I was the victim of a scam by someone pretending to be Etsy who manipulated me into sending them money under the guise of verifying my bank card with my account. So I’m £420 down before I’ve even started. Really horrible 😭
Anyway, I’ve been bombarded by scammers posing as Etsy on the Etsy Seller app ever since, so I wanted to warn any other artists that the app doesn’t seem protected from bogus scammers at all, and it looks like a lot of new users fall into the trap. @etsy surely you need to sort it out?
Hoping I’ll have a more positive experience from here on out🤞🏻♥️
