I hope this message finds you healthy, focused, and moving with purpose. I’m just leaving the gym after my first workout of the day, and I’m reminded once again that wellness is not a luxury… it’s a necessity. This fitness and wellness journey I’m on is about so much more than looking good. It’s about longevity, discipline, mental clarity, peace, energy, and showing up as the best version of myself in every area of life.

The truth is, maintaining healthy habits takes real commitment and a serious investment of time. Between work, family, music, travel, responsibilities, and the unexpected curveballs life throws at us, it’s easy for workouts, proper meals, rest, and self-care to get pushed to the side. I know that struggle firsthand. Some days you’re juggling so much that your priorities have to shift in real time. But I’m learning that the things we tend to push aside are often the very things fueling everything else.

When I take care of my body, my mind is sharper. My creativity flows better. My mood improves. My spirit feels balanced. My energy increases. Health truly impacts every part of our lives.

So no matter how busy life gets, we have to make ourselves a priority. Exercise. Eat better. Drink more water. Protect your peace. And please… get your sleep. Don’t fall for the hustle culture rhetoric that glorifies grinding 24/7 and acting like sleep is optional. Rest is essential. Recovery matters. Your body heals, restores, and recharges while you sleep.

Taking care of ourselves shouldn’t be something we squeeze in when we “find time.” It should be part of our daily lifestyle and mindset. Mind, body, and soul all deserve attention.

Let’s continue becoming stronger, healthier, wiser, and more intentional every single day.

Up early this morning, grateful for another day and getting myself aligned before spending quality time with the family. Today is all about love, laughter, good energy, and a small BBQ with the people who matter most… but before I enjoyed the food and fellowship, I had to start the day the right way. 💪🏿

I hit the gym, got my 3 miles in, knocked out my weights, broke a sweat, cleared my mind, and set the tone for the entire day. Discipline matters. Consistency matters. The little decisions you make every day eventually become the life you live.

Now I can sit down, enjoy this amazing food, and still feel good knowing I didn’t completely derail the progress I’ve been working so hard for. That’s what balance is about. You can enjoy life AND still take care of yourself. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

Self-care is not selfish. It’s necessary. Your mind, body, and soul all need attention, nourishment, peace, movement, rest, and positivity. Protect your energy. Lower your stress levels. Feed your spirit with good thoughts and good people. Even if it’s just a simple walk around the neighborhood, keep moving. Keep growing. Keep choosing yourself.

That quote hit me deeply because it speaks to a truth I’ve experienced over and over throughout my life and career. Gratitude changes your perspective. It shifts your focus from what’s missing to what’s already overflowing in your life. The more thankful you become, the more clearly you begin to see the abundance that was already surrounding you.

I’ve learned that gratitude isn’t just about appreciating the big wins, awards, sold out shows, opportunities, or accomplishments. It’s also about being thankful for the lessons, the setbacks, the closed doors, the quiet seasons, and the moments that forced growth and transformation. Sometimes the greatest blessings arrive disguised as challenges.

When you wake up grateful, move with gratitude, speak with gratitude, and treat people with gratitude, life has a way of opening up. Your energy changes. Your spirit changes. Your relationships change. And somehow… more blessings seem to find their way to you.

I’m grateful for the music, the journey, the people who support me, the opportunities to create, perform, inspire, and continue evolving into the best version of myself. Gratitude keeps me grounded while still pushing me forward.

Good day! I hope this finds you well. Life right now is gloriously full: finishing a record for an incredible client, rolling out my own singles and new albums, writing my book, parenting my beautiful children, loving and supporting my brilliant wife, and I’m in the middle of a cleanse to reset and prepare my body for the next level. I’ve set goals, I’ve mapped the path, and I’m committed to hitting them.

Add to that the joy of having my beautiful mother in town for the next few weeks, today we’re stealing away to The Huntington Botanical Gardens for a day of beauty, calm, and family time. I’m blessed beyond measure in so many areas of my life. It isn’t perfect, nothing ever is, but I’ve learned that beauty and true joy live in the cracks of imperfection. We grow by trying, by failing, and by getting back up; every misstep is a lesson that shapes us and pushes us closer to our best selves.

One truth keeps showing up for me: everything is about being of service. As artists we can easily get wrapped up in ourselves, but our highest work comes when we serve, the music, our collaborators, the audience, and the moment itself. As a drummer, producer, and musician, my role is to elevate the artist I’m playing with, support the other musicians on stage, honor the people who came to hear us, and deliver something beautiful and transformative. Serving the music and the room is both a responsibility and a privilege.

Being of service is a cornerstone of a happy, productive, and meaningful life. It’s not always comfortable, and it’s not always glamorous, but it’s always worth it. Take care of yourself, lean into the journey, celebrate the small wins, and remember to be of service to yourself and everyone around you.
