I bought the Blu Ray of ‘Joker: Folie a Deux.’ I’m in a small minority in thinking this is a brilliant, 5 star film. A dark musical, themes of fantasy and reality, the dark side of celebrity, and the masks people wear. I think despite being so heavily criticized, this film will stand the test of time and be celebrated for its virtuoso performances, and bold direction. You heard it here first.

Well worth seeing ‘Nosferatu’ while it’s still in cinemas. Superb, often monochrome photography, evocative sound design, a classically spoken script and excellent performances.

Finished an audiobook on the last day of 2024. My hundredth as it turns out, if you include 31 books not commercially available. New headphones to celebrate: Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro.Superb

Warwick Castle as magical as ever at the end of a days work.

Went to see Joker: Folie a deux. What a breathtakingly brilliant film. A dark musical with themes of the division and conflict between fantasy and reality. I even came out of the cinema humming the tunes.
