2025 Demo Reel
I’ve never made a demo reel before, but it felt like the right time to finally showcase some of my work and why I’m passionate about what I do. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a perfectionist, and people often say that’s a good thing. I’ve learned over time that it can also be my weakness.
Putting this reel together took a lot out of me, but it also helped me realize I need to be better to myself. I hate almost everything I shoot because to me it never feels good enough. I even debated not posting this at all. But I’ve been so blessed by God with the talents He’s given me that Im choosing to put out more of my work.
I’ve come a long way, and so have my friends in this industry. It’s still wild to think I’ve only been shooting at this level for just a few years. I’m always reminded, “just wait another five or six years.”.
As for why I’m passionate… well, I have an image in my head and I’m addicted to figuring it out and making brands/ideas come alive. I’m also building this empire for my daughter to take over when she comes of age. So that’s why I’m passionate about this.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s pushed me this far. The ones who supported me, ghosted me, doubted me, loved me, pushed for me, sold me, and stood up for me. Without all of you, CrossKodak would be nothing.
Here’s to growth and learning to be kind to yourself.
One piece of advice for anyone getting into this field or needing a reminder. Art is what you make of it. If it’s shaped entirely by someone else, is it really yours? Make it unique to you. Tailor it to your brand, your heart, and your passion, and you’ll be where you need to be when the love starts rolling in.
