The cotton journey to Bangladesh with NR group

I had the privilege of being invited by @auscotton to spend a few days with farmers, researchers, industry leaders and delegates from around the world, tracing cotton from the paddock to the gin.

I had the privilege of being invited by @auscotton to spend a few days with farmers, researchers, industry leaders and delegates from around the world, tracing cotton from the paddock to the gin.

I went in with plenty of questions about Australian cotton and left with a much deeper understanding of the people, science, water management, technology and decisions behind it.

So many new connections and friendships from the week!

Huge thanks to Cotton Australia for having me along. A proper eye opener.

Between August and October last year, I travelled across nine cities in eight weeks on a @churchill_trustFellowship to understand how fashion systems work and how we can prevent waste.

Some of the most important work in fashion is happening quietly inside factories, repair hubs, design studios and community organisations, led by people building real solutions without always getting the attention they deserve.

I have a beautiful written report which @wearebamstudio helped design and I also filmed a doco to showcase that side of the industry.

Completing this entire project on my own has been hugely challenging and rewarding, to everyone who gave their time and shared openly, thank you SO MUCH.
