Di tengah hutan Sumatra yang rimbun, beruk menjadi simbol kecerdasan dan keindahan alam liar. Mereka memanjat pohon-pohon tinggi, bermain, dan menyebarkan benih yang menjaga kehidupan hutan. Namun, kebebasan mereka direnggut.
Beruk-beruk ini diambil dari habitat alaminya, diperdagangkan, dan menjadi sekadar hiburan atau simbol status. Hilangnya mereka bukan hanya tentang kehilangan satu spesies, tetapi juga ancaman terhadap ekosistem hutan kita.
Tapi, harapan masih ada. KEHATI dan Biodiversity Warriors berjuang untuk melindungi mereka, menyelamatkan hutan, dan menjaga warisan alam kita.
