Started Summer 2025 off with our Cool Tone Brown covers of Cheap Trick’s “Surrender”, as well as Eddie Money’s “Think I’m in Love”.

Going to end Summer 2025 releasing our @cooltonebrown version of Jackson Browne’s “Running on Empty”

All of these Cool Tone Brown cover remakes are all part of a larger collection of reggae remakes we have been putting together for an album called “Full Circle”.

Been super fun puttingour own twist on our favorite classics!

4 months later, the “Wish Me Well: Dub Versions + Remixes” LP will be available this week!

All 11 songs either completely flipped and remixed and or dub versions.Features from Megalith, Giuliana De Pietro, Sister Nancy, Travis McKayle!

Got a few @cooltonebrown things about to drop for this summer!

Since we released our debut “Wish Me Well” EP, we have been banging out a bunch of cover songs - fave songs of ours - revamped and done the Cool Tone Brown Way..

Going to drop a couple covers we did to give you all a taste of what we have been up to:

Cheap Trick’s “Surrender” and Eddie Money’s “Think I’m in Love” are the first two covered we are going to drop.. They turned out really well and stoked as they are mist definitely favorite songs of ours!!

@chucktreece & myself put together a riddim dub for our pal @jaydclark called “Chill Dub” as a promo for Jay D’s “CHILL” line…

In true Soundsystem fashion like the “Stalag 17”, “Sleng Ting”, and “Taxi” riddims - We did our own version of the “Chill Dub” which became the song “Irrational”! Moving forward all STREECE SOUNDSYSTEM riddims will bone like this so you definitely will be hearing many versions of riddims w different vocals etc - true to the Soundsystem ethos!

Super stoked on these and got a lot of stuff in the works!!

STREECE X CHOPSHOP X MILTON J X COOL TONE BROWN!!

Back to back to back sessions here at @chopshop_studio yesterday - literally a 14+ hour day!!

Created a new flip for @miltonjmusic starting at like 5am.. @chucktreece came thru for new bass & guitars and rearranging.

Finished that session at like 5:55 and jumped right into a @cooltonebrown session at 6pm til almost 10:30pm - banging out vocals for a killer cover of Cheap Trick’s “Surrender”..

We stay working and banging out!!!
