By @vosk.design: A bus has only moments ago pulled away, chairs stand newly abandoned, a row of shopping carts has only now been noticed, and men have gathered to watch the Spezia–Inter match. Number 36, Matteo Darmian, is about to take the throw-in.
On television, the moment is still pending, and when it finally occurs, it will already belong to the passé immédiat.
At the same time, however, it has already taken place, because our friend Y.S. has captured Darmian, the men, the carts, and much more in a photograph.

Passé immédiat is the recent past, and at the same time a photographic project tracing fleeting urban impressions across different cities of the world. It is the quiet freezing of the ordinary at the very instant it slips away.
This vanishing is echoed in the typography itself: the “P” hunches over a city dissolving into fragments, as if the weight of what has just occurred were pressing it down. Everything scatters, wheels still spinning, lenses glinting, beams abandoned by builders, people rushing to work and hurrying home again. The city bursts outward in all directions, already becoming memory.
All of it belongs to a single image, a whole that existed only a heartbeat ago. The photographer moves through the world in an endless search for that fragile threshold, Passé immédiat.

🟣 New release: 00 Quatorze! 🟣

00 Quatorze reinterprets the familiar language of the geometric sans serif. Built on clean, rational shapes, it introduces subtle gestures that soften its tone and bring a more human presence. Details such as the single-storey g and u-shaped y lend the typeface human qualities, while the varying widths of the capitals create a distinct texture in all-caps settings.
From this relatively neutral foundation, the family expands into more expressive territories. The Display style pushes contrast to the limit, with hairline connections and extremely tight spacing. The Mono version explores the constraints of fixed spacing, finding inventive solutions for characters like m and r. Finally, the Mono Display combines these experiments and adds connecting serifs, resulting in a final style that feels both unexpected and cohesive.
