This challenge is all about:
- consistency
- accountability
- finishing tracks instead of chasing perfection
We’ll be focusing on:
- full start-to-finish track tutorials
- mindset videos to help you push through
- organised workflows & techniques you can actually repeat
At the end of the 4 weeks, send over your favourite finished track and I’ll personally listen to all submissions and pick a winner.
If you’re tired of unfinished projects and inconsistent workflow… this is for you.

Struggling to make sick drums? Sampling loads of old records and building your own mini sample pack is one of the best ways to start.
That’s exactly how I made “Boom.” It’s a proven workflow that a lot of great artists use.
Full track breakdown showing how I made this track drops this week for members.

Things always lead to things, and it’s important to remember that on the bad days in the studio.
Sessions are never wasted — even if it’s just finding one decent hi-hat sound, a cool drum groove, or a new bass patch.
If you stay consistent, you’ll be surprised how much things compound over time.
We’ve just dropped a full tutorial going in depth on this mentality and a bunch of other small mindset shifts you can take on board to keep moving forward with consistency.

It can be tempting to keep adding new sounds to a project, but working with what you already have is often the more effective approach.
Creating repeated patterns from sounds already in your track is a great way to build extra layers, movement, and cohesion without overcrowding the mix.
Full tutorial on how I made this track available to members ✨
Such a simple but powerful way to add variation 🔄
Try going through your elements and pitching certain sounds up or down by a few semitones. You’ll be surprised how often it instantly works.
It’s a quick way to breathe new life into a track and stop loops from feeling repetitive or stagnant.

Most mixdown problems come from hearing the wrong thing — if even if you starting applying one of these it will help your mix untreated rooms, uncalibrated monitors, or only mixing on one system.
Here’s how to fix it:
• Test your mixes on different speakers
• Calibrate your monitors/headphones
• Treat your room before upgrading gear
The better you hear, the better you mix. 🔊

Finishing tracks gets a lot easier when you have a system, the right mindset, and clear limitations.
That’s been a huge focus in the tutorials at Constant Sound lately — helping producers stop overthinking and actually complete music.
Something I always hold onto when things feel slow in the studio, or when I’m not fully clear on what I’m working towards, is that these little loops and ideas usually make more sense later on. Sometimes you need to step away, come back with a fresh perspective, and suddenly hear the potential that wasn’t obvious before.
Having a bank of old loops and sketches is such a valuable position to be in. Your skills are constantly evolving, you’re always learning new techniques, and that means you can revisit old ideas and turn them into fully finished tracks in ways you couldn’t at the time.
I’ve finished so many tracks over the years by doing exactly this. But if I hadn’t kept showing up and putting the hours in when everything felt slow, I wouldn’t have had those ideas there waiting to be revisited later.
Producer struggling with consistency?
You’re definitely not alone.
That’s why we’ve been creating tutorials focused on helping producers stay motivated, inspired, and actually finish what they start.
Small progress every day > waiting for perfect motivation 🎶
