Here’s a photo from the current KXT blog covering the FW Songwriter Festival. It was cool, after I played my new single Destroyer of Worlds, I heard Waffles say, “I heard that one on the radio!” to which I replied, “Thanks to someone!” Thanks again to KXT, Slavens, and Waffles for their support this year. And another thanks to the Fort Worth Songwriters Festival and Amplify 817 for having me. It was a blast song swapping with my friends @mchandmusic and @brokestringburnett.

Last night at Stage West was something special.The evening featured a blend of poetry and music... featuring the Spectrum Chamber Music Society’s Quartet Chromatica and the Fort Worth Poetry Society.I backed up my friend, poet Tammy Melody Gomez on guitar (sorry she's so far away in the photo). The poetry focused on the theme of democracy... arresting, bleak, and hopeful.I thought everyone's performances were amazing.

It was an honor to be a part of the event.Hopefully we can do more things like this in the future.
