Thanksgiving. There could be no better time to reflect on "Team Photo", a beautiful idea created with Canadian Tire and the great Jonathan Toews to appreciate that yes, it takes a village.
The 350 people in this film are Jonathan’s actual supporters from Winnipeg, from his coaches to trainers to car poolers. In a real maple leaf, all the veins eventually connect to the stem. We saw this as the perfect metaphor for our leaf – the kind actions of many, meaningfully connected to uplift Jonathan to greatness.
To all Canadians at home, abroad, and at heart – happy Thanksgiving.
