My second album, Supermodels, is out today and dang I’m so proud of it. I put my whole heart and soul into this record and I feel so incredibly lucky to get to release it. Thank you for being here and thank you to @saddestfactoryrecords for being the best label on the planet.
Now a bit about the music video out today… I met Paul Rudd briefly in passing and explained that there was a song on my upcoming album named after him, and he so generously gave me his email asking to hear it. In the email I explained that “Paul Rudd” and many other songs on the record are about me trying to imagine myself as a cool and confident person similar to the types of characters he plays. Filming this music video really pushed me out of my shell in a lot of ways, as did making this album. Special thanks to @christinaxing for making videos with me since high school and being the greatest friend. Your talent is unmatched, thank you for bringing my music to life.
