Employer branding films aren’t always the sexiest brief. But when the agency approached me with a fresh angle, I thought: alright… there’s something here. Let me give it a try….

This commercial is a tiny ode to the partners and friends who keep us brave when we’re about to jump into cold water.

I had the pleasure of working on this very special project together with @luxumbrafilm , @cinemaker_ , and @lukasschaller.color.

This film, created by and about young female tennis players, offers a brief glimpse into moments of dreams, self-discovery, and the spirit of sport as these girls embark on their journey in tennis.

We went through an incredible process - editing hours of material captured over weeks, recording talented young voice actresses, enhancing every shot through color grading, and crafting a rich sound design. All of this, including a 7.1 surround and stereo mix, came together in just a few weeks.

Today is the day! Typisch Emil, is hitting theaters nationwide. Unreal! What a journey it’s been with the most wonderful crew anyone could ever wish for. I was lucky enough to be asked to support this project as the Postproductionsupervisor and Trailer Editor. It’s been a huge honour to be a part of and to get to know a legend that shaped swiss culture and humor in such a significant way. I encourage everyone to go see it on the big screen as we infused every frame and sound with such love and care. I’m incredibly proud of the whole crew and hope that the film resonates with people all around switzerland!
