Let It Be (Real), my first collab with @meessalome is out today! This one feels quite special to me. A song about wishful dreaming. I really tried to sketch a picture with the lyrics. Mees hit it home on the production. <3

Where do we go in the end?

@chrishowardsongs and I went into the studio and recorded a live take on Heart of Gold 🎹. Somehow the connection was just as strong as when we got in a room together and wrote it 🫶🏻

Twee jaar geleden vroeg ik Nienke of ze een keer een liedje voor haarzelf wilde schrijven. We waren elkaar al tegengekomen op writing camps maar hadden dus alleen nog voor anderen geschreven. 4 april schreven we in onze 1e sessie die 4 uur duurde gelijk “Tegendraads”. Ze schreef ook al superlang met @jesperhoekstra en daardoor zijn wij ook gaan samenwerken waar ik superblij mee ben. Nu is @nienkeleone haar eerste EP uit waar ik aan 4 liedjes heb meegeschreven en bij 2 liedjes mocht hopen dat ik ze geschreven had. Samen met @jochemguitar en @jensmunnik, die ook meeschreven, maakten we onder het dak van @soundwise_music deze 6 pareltjes af. Zo trots!!! ♥️
