Long story short, NAIL HOUSE is the culmination of years of RocketJump talent and vision. I’ve been so excited to see Freddie and Matt go forth with this movie, after reading the absolutely full-throttle bananas script by Matt and Will many moons ago.

Here is a smattering of random ass Nail House things I found on my phone. After a truly mind-blowing 24 hours, we are in the final stretches of our crowdfund campaign on BackerKit. Nearing $650K now! Whut! After a month+ of sleepless delirium, hugs, and a lot of watching The West Wing (damn my rabid, hormone-powered crush on Josh Lyman), we’re slowly wrapping our heads around the fact that Will and I, yes those two goofuses, have TWO children. Plural. Welcome to Earth or wherever we are, Raulito. We love you. And a big thank you to OG chaos gremlin, Andy, for being a stellar big brother so far ❤️❤️

WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE is out today in select theaters!

Matt, Freddie, and this stupendous cast and crew made a beautiful movie on the heels of the pandemic and it’s coming out during a wildly transformative time in the film industry. As a co-producer, it’s been a great honor and massive learning experience taking on the distribution leg of its long journey, alongside a tiny and mighty team. I revisit my biggest takeaway from my time at RocketJump — stop waiting and just go out and make the damn thing. Hard to actualize, but super satisfying when you do.

If it’s playing near you (link in biOoOOo), please check out this funny, romantic, weird, truly indie film. In a movie theater with other humans! It’s what movies are all about ❤️ also if we get all the butts in all the seats, we can keep this train rolling longer!!

MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE is out in theaters today!

A feature debut with a release like this movie’s getting… kinda feels like a miracle. But you know what — and I feel a little goofy saying this — it’s SO good! Everyone put their guts into this movie, in service of Kyle’s vision and story. It’s amazing, it’s storytelling with purpose, and I hope if ZOE does well, we get more movies like it.

So if you can, please, please go see ZOE this weekend. It’s a compelling story for non-veterans and veterans alike. And it’s funny!! I promise 😉
