Jackie rubs a leaf from last season’s sage to get a whiff of its scent from the rooftop garden at her apartment complex off Paseo in KCMO. Jackie and Nik (pictured later) as well as many other tenants here received eviction notices or a note asking if they would voluntarily leave.The eviction date would have been today 4/1

The tenants formed a union with help from KC Tenants and every eviction notice was rescinded.

Jackie and Nik (pictured later) as well as many other tenants here received eviction notices or a note asking if they would voluntarily leave.The eviction date would have been today 4/1

The tenants formed a union with help from KC Tenants and every eviction notice was rescinded.
