Today we’re proud to release our 2025 Annual Report: Building What's Next.

At CEO, we’re pairing evidence, innovation, and courage to build the reentry infrastructure our country has long needed.

In 2025 alone, CEO served nearly 8,000 people returning home, paid almost $20 million in wages to people returning home from incarceration, and published independent evaluations showing reduced parole violations and rising earnings.

This is what’s possible when opportunity comes first. Read the full report and see the impact at the link in bio.

Imagine trying to get a job, secure housing, or catch a bus, but you don't have an ID, and you don't have the paperwork to get one.

In a recent @ideastreamneo article, a reentry simulation in Cuyahoga County highlighted some of the barriers people face after incarceration, including navigating transportation, finding employment, accessing services, and obtaining identification documents.

Experiences like this help raise awareness about the challenges many people encounter during reentry and the importance of investing in support systems that create pathways to long-term stability.

Brick by Brick, Opportunity 2030 is laying the foundation for a reentry system capable of reaching every person returning home from incarceration.

Starting in Arizona, CEO is partnering with @arouetempowers to expand paid jobs, career support, and long-term reentry services for women returning home after incarceration in Phoenix.

When someone leaves incarceration, they often face a reentry gap: no ID, no money for a bus to get to work, and no safety net to cover the basics.

@fox31denver spoke with participants who testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about the challenges of reentry without these supports and how access to them can help people build stability and move forward after incarceration.

As the Reentry Readiness Act moves through the legislative process, it would help ensure people have access to these essential tools when they return home.

How does health coverage impact workforce participation? In the #CEOPolicyLab, we’re breaking down why Medicaid access is a prerequisite for long-term stability after incarceration—especially as new work requirements reshape who can stay covered.

Without access to real employment opportunities and support, many people risk losing healthcare before they’ve had a fair chance to reenter the workforce.

Reentry success is a public good, and it starts with ensuring every person returning home has the health support they need to succeed.
