@parksfdncalgary welcomes Harsimarjit Parmar as our Marketing Coordinator this summer.

You may have already seen his drone flying skills put to work with our recent posts about Saddleridge Playground Opening and the Martin Family Legacy Garden progess update.

Harsimarjit Parmar is a motivated and community-oriented Political Science student at the University of Calgary.He is building hands-on experience through internship and program-based roles focused on public engagement and service delivery. Through work at Telus Spark and in community programming environments, Harsimarjit has contributed to the delivery of engaging educational experiences, supported workshops and youth programs, and demonstrated a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and guest experience.

A confident and thoughtful communicator, he has a natural ability to connect with diverse audiences, adapt in real time, and contribute positively to inclusive, community-centered environments while continuing to develop his professional skill set.

Olivia is thoughtful, community-minded and brings a strong foundation in engagement, outreach, and event coordination to her new role. Currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, she has already built hands-on experience through roles with organizations such as Carya and the City of Calgary, where she supported community programming, volunteer coordination, and local engagement initiatives. Olivia is known for her strong communication skills, curiosity, and ability to build genuine connections, and she is excited to continue learning and contributing as part of the team this summer.

@parksfdncalgary is thrilled to welcome Andreana Prusky as our new Donor Relations Coordinator.Andreana comes to us from GreenLearning Canada Foundation, where she’s developed a robust skill set in program development and project management, leading multi-stakeholder initiatives, funding proposals, and impact reporting.She brings strong experience translating complex program work into compelling narratives for funders and partners and brings a thoughtful, organized approach to her work, along with a real passion for community impact. She’s someone who enjoys connecting the dots to bring people, data, and ideas together to move initiatives forward, and is excited to contribute to our meaningful, community-focused work that truly benefits Calgarians.Welcome to the team, Andreana!
