My friend @annieboothmusic and I got together and wrote some songs. We called ourselves Slow Weather and our EP, “Clean Living” is available now to pre-order from @lnfglasgow records.

It’s five tracks that are close to us personally and it’s available on limited edition 12” vinyl (black + milkmaid white) and lossless download. Releases in November! Singles soon.

I produced this one at @hermitageworksstudios and mixed it in The West End (of Paisley).

We’ve contributed a track to our US label @palosantorecords “Compilation For Change”. 100% of the proceeds, including $2,000 in matching donations will be split between the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Black Lives Matter.
Go grab it. Link in Bio! “Over the past several weeks, we at the Palo Santo Music Group have run the gamut of feelings from helpless and outraged to hopeful and engaged. Every day we see and hear people all over the world--people of all ages, backgrounds, race, sexual orientation, and gender identity--coming together to demand truth, equality, justice, and immediate change. While that outrage is still palpable, it is not paralyzing.
On Friday, June 19, in celebration of Juneteenth, we will be releasing a compilation of music from our roster of artists as well as other artists with whom we share our diverse community. Teaming up with our sister labels Poor Man Records and Hit Records, we’ve asked participating artists to each contribute a track for our “Compilation for Change.” 100% of all proceeds will go to NAACP and Black Lives Matter in tandem with Bandcamp’s commitment of 100% of their revenue share to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
Music is healing. Music is a celebration. But music has also been the mouthpiece of great social awakening and change.

Hello folks,

It's been a long time coming but we're finally here. After three years of breakthroughs, breakdowns and par for the course industry insanity, our new album, 'Celebrated by Strangers' is out today! This is an album that we're immensely proud of, that we feel captures closely who we are as people, and the times we're living in (for better and worse). It's a collection of songs that we've crafted to stand not just on their own, but to work cohesively as an album that we hope will draw you in and hold you cover to cover - just like the records we love.

I'd be hard pressed not to mention the Coronavirus in all of this. It might seem like a strange time to release a record, and those discussions were definitely had. However, we feel that now more than ever, the importance and power of music is going to be felt (and needed) the world over. These are strange, unprecedented times, but I firmly believe that if we all stay sensible, peaceful, considerate and compassionate we'll get through it largely unscathed. And maybe in the end, the world will change for the better. We certainly weren't moving at large in a positive, not to mention sustainable direction - so I'm hoping that this crisis might act as a kind of reset button, or a serious course correction, at least for the worst, most wasteful and inhuman excesses of our modern world.

I could go on all day about this sort of thing, maybe we should just make another album about it in lockdown? We'll see.

Anyway, if you're reading this, if we met on the road or at the studio or we're just old pals, the band and I are sending our best wishes and we know we'll see you again soon. We're eternally grateful for your support and we really hope you enjoy the album. And if you do like it - pick up a physical copy if you can, and tell a friend to do the same so we can keep fighting the good fight.

Until then, stick your feet up, do what you do and give it a whirl.
