This past weekend, I was lucky enough to be a part of the selected few to get hands-on with the new @insta360 Ace Pro 2 action cam 📷, co-engineered with Leica!!! This tiny, yet mighty camera specs are insane, shooting 50MP RAW, a lot of filter options and even ones created with Leica! It’s compact with a super handy quick-dial for instant captures, making it really fun to shoot with. It’s definitely a camera each creator should have! 👌

Collaborating with @insta360_usa this weekend at the Venice Beach 🌴 Photo Walk made me realize what truly matters—it’s being present and intentional with each moment, creating connections with like-minded creators and stopping to pause and finding the beauty in the ordinary. 🌅

A HUGE shoutout to @nyctme @asteryx @insta360_usa @insta360 and the rest of the Insta360 crew for creating an opportunity for creative minds to gather, connect and build. 🤝 #Insta360 #Insta360PhotoWalk #VeniceBeach

I’m often asked, how can you travel alone? Aren’t you afraid? I say, take a risk and #YoseMiteFallInLove 🫶
.
It started with one solo trip to Yosemite. After that, I was officially hooked on solo traveling, especially into our National Parks.
I never would have imagined that going on a solo trip into a NP would change me as a person, literally! But it did!
.
It was August 2020, middle of Covid. I received some difficult news and needed to get away. In that moment, I made the decision to go explore nature. I was so nervous and afraid to be alone roaming a national park, but I knew I needed to take a leap and step out of my comfort zone. And that’s how the “Exploring” began!!
.
Yosemite was the first national park I explored solo and my experience was perfect, beyond my imagination. The park was ideally empty. Most of the people I met were avid travelers or Yosemite locals. I called my good friend @mackmurdoc and he gave me the perfect itinerary for my trip. I woke up early every morning to catch the sunrise. I hiked Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls. I biked and explored Yosemite Valley. I star-gazed from the middle of Merced River. I ate pizza and drank beer with complete strangers at the bar in #CurryVillage. I even got to commute up to Glacier Peak, which I have yet to do again. It was all so very magical.✨
.
Exploring nature alone changed my mind, my thought process, my perspectives, my life! It gave me time to sit alone in the deepest of my thoughts and really process everything. How can I evolve and be 1% better each day? Who are my true friends? What brings me joy? What are the things I want to accomplish in life? What are my biggest fears and how are they stopping me from my potential? What are some regrets and why? And the questions went on. And all I had was time to think and reflect. Through a lot of reflecting, processing and self evaluating, I left Yosemite a changed woman. 💁🏻‍♀️
.
Younever know HOW much you can benefit and evolve from a solo trip. If you’ve NEVER done it before and might be hesitant, start small, like a day trip to somewhere you’d like to visit that isn’t too far away from you. You’ll thank yourself later! I sure did! 💛

“Visual Poetry” 🌳🤎🌿 Find love in everything you do and everywhere you go.

💚 I randomly came across this tree that had fallen in the middle of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. As I began to explore, I realized the inside of the trunk looked like a heart. In this moment, I paused and reflected on everything. Life is so precious and we should enjoy every moment and do everything with our hearts regardless of what we “feel”. Feel with love. Do with love. Express with love. 💓💕💓

Take a bite out of life. 🍩🤤🤎

This is my amazing and charismatic personal trainer @jennyylynne. She is upbeat, energetic, authentic, humble and gorgeous (inside & out)! She accepted my offer to do a fun photo shoot around fitness and eating healthy. We live in a day and age where everything is about health but not everyone takes it serious. People work out but eat like garbage. Hence my dumbbells. 🏋️‍♀️

My first gallery, but not my last. 📷🖼️💝 It was truly surreal to see my photography displayed for spectators to view and to see so many stop and talk about my captures. What a blessing, what a moment. ✨🫶💫

Thank you @jennyylynne for creating a moment with me that’ll last a lifetime. Thank you @photographyby_sarkis for capturing the moment and your continuous support.

The topic was “Her & Now” and I couldn’t help but think about the way our society emphasizes health and fitness.
