You never know what you’ll find in the middle of the Gulf. Caught this baby sailfish off the side of the boat while swordfishing. Hope to see him again in a few years during a tournament.

It’s hard to complain about working 7 days a week when your office looks like this.

The meatballs of tarpon are right on schedule pouring into Tampa Bay for the May full moon. It’s impossible to count the exact amount of fish we see out here everyday but it’s in the thousands right now.

Happy Opening Day!!! Red snapper officially opens today for recreational anglers here in the Gulf of America and runs through July 31st. After that there is a fall season open on weekends. There is a 2 fish limit per person with a 16” minimum.

For hire/ charter season runs from June 1- October 26th. I personally do not have offshore permits and do not fish outside of 9 miles but am happy to refer you to some of the great offshore guides in our area that will take care of you and show you a great time.

What a way to kick off tarpon season!!!

Consistent bites, quality fish, screaming drags, and clients absolutely getting after it from start to finish. Watching people light up over these fish and making memories on the water never gets old.

The energy around this season already feels different… and if this trip was any indication of what’s ahead, we’re in for one hell of a season. Tampa Bay is ready to show out this year!!!
