A few months ago, a group of photographers had the unique opportunity to visit the Canson Paper Mill, experience centuries of papermaking expertise first-hand and test our papers.

Among our guests was Hanneke Van Camp, a nature photographer based in Belgium who spends most of the year travelling across Arctic Europe. Her winter images convey a sense of warmth and intimacy, making you want to be there even in the harshest climates.

Eager to live a life closer to nature, she continues to push the boundaries of her comfort zone. She often captures her soft landscape photographs during sunrise hikes across the fells, taking in the surrounding environment. In this misty, suggestive world, it feels as if time stands still. Because, as vast, rugged and extreme as the North may be, a sense of tranquillity always seems to prevail.
