I’ll have a large selection on work, including some pieces from the archive, and an array of (new!) brass candle holders I’ve been working on

Lots of amazing work will be here from so many artists that inspire me and share this space, it’s really special over here 🎈

New Style ~ a stacked cairn-like figure of threaded wax beads. I’ve been making lots of wax stones/pebbles/beads, which when strungtogether and dipped, make a candle (object). This process has a randomness and playfulness that I’ve been drawn to, lots of unique forms. This one, and some others like it, will be available in person tomorrow, Friday June 27th, at the next Sandbox event.

@lizas_computer @piper.h.l and I are continuing our series at @ours.today of contemplative parallel play. Bring a screen free activity, or just chill out, while we sip tea and listen to music. The three of us will be DJing, a zoner’s hang out. Liza will be debuting her collaboration with @carytown.teas, a response to her perfumes in tea form (very cool) and Piper will have some of her expertly curated stationary.

Big thanks to @sortinghills and @iandonegan for organizing this beautiful collection of people and objects. “This show is a big embrace of the childlike spirit embedded in a Spring that shoots up into the thick surrender of Summer. We can let the seasons be our compass, honor their aliveness, and trust something beyond ourselves to guide the way forward.”

@secretflowers.fun will be selling bouquets + @lizapittardstudios will be selling scents, with the proceeds going towards fundraising for ICE detainees.
