Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Candied Lemon Slices.🍋 Because getting out of the house for a mom’s night is reason enough to celebrate these days, plus we had some extra lemons. I’m not sure why this felt like a fall recipe but it worked. Moist, earthy and just the right amount of sweet.

Candied Grapefruit Peel.🍊Are you a grapefruit fan? I wouldn’t have predicted this would be my first dessert project in our new kitchen, but we are lucky enough to have inherited a red grapefruit tree with a ton of fruit. Unfortunately, nobody else in my family likes grapefruit so I went on a hunt for recipes, found this gem from @davidlebovitz and I am obsessed. They are not for everyone- literally bittersweet - but me being me, I packaged them up with pretty ribbon and now I’m on a mission to find my grapefruit people and share.
