On Tuesday, May 26, we’re back with another Write Night: a quarterly community-centered evening where we gather to write, create, or work on personal projects together while raising funds for local nonprofits and community organizations. This quarter, your donations will support @asianmentalhealthproject. They’re an LA-rooted nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering Asian communities in seeking mental healthcare.

For a long time, “mocktail” meant a $17 glass of juice with maybe a sprig of mint if you were lucky.
That’s not what’s happening anymore.
The best non-alcoholic cocktails today are just as thoughtful and complex as alcoholic ones. And just like any good cocktail bar, when you order a drink you’re not only paying for the liquid in the glass. You’re paying for the creativity, labor, hospitality, rent, staffing, glassware, prep, and experience.
The alcohol itself was never the most expensive part.
People don’t go out just to get drunk. They go out to connect, celebrate, discover new flavors, and feel included. Great NA cocktails deserve to be part of that too.
