Josh Widdicombe has been announced as one of the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing. He'll present the BBC One show alongside Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe.
The BBC notes: "They will preside over the Strictly ballroom in spectacular style this autumn in an exciting new era for the BBC's glittering hit entertainment show made by BBC Studios".
He says: "Dancing the Charleston dressed as a penguin for the 2024 Christmas Special of Strictly remains my career high point, so I am giddy with excitement, honoured and a little overawed to be given the chance to step into the biggest shoes in television. I adore Emma and Jojo and can't wait to spend my weekends with them. I'll dust off the penguin costume."

Channel 4 has revealed these first look pictures for Number 10, the comedy drama series set in the Prime Minister's house.
Written by Steven Moffat, the series stars Rafe Spall as the Prime Minister, Katherine Kelly as the Chief of Staff and Jenna Coleman as the Deputy Chief of Staff.
The producers explain: "There's a Prime Minister in the attic, a coffee bar in the basement, and a wallpapered labyrinth of romance, crisis and heartbreak in-between. Set in the only terrace house in history with mice and a nuclear deterrent, it's the only knock-through in the world where a hangover can start a war. The government will be fictional and unspecific, but the problems will be real.
"We'll never know which party is in power, because once the whole world hits the fan it barely matters. This is a show about the building and everyone inside. Not just the Prime Minister upstairs, but the conspiracy theorist who runs the cafe three floors below, the man who repairs the lift that never works, the madly ambitious 'advisors' fighting for office space in cupboards. Oh, and of course, the cat.
"A drama about one of the most famous addresses in the world, Number 10 is all of Britain in a house: it's British history under one roof. It's how we all got into the mess we're in. It's also our only hope of getting out of it."
Transmission details will be revealed in due course.

Pictures from The Reluctant Vampire, the upcoming comedy series based on the 1982 book by Eric Morecambe. Today (14th May) is the centenary anniversary of the Morecambe & Wise star.
Adapted by Alan Partridge writers Rob and Neil Gibbons, the show follows Val (Lenny Rush) trying to live up to his father Victor's (Tom Davis) high expectations.
Val is hiding a secret as big as his cape: he is not part of the great undead, he is, in fact very much alive. The series will see Val explore his newly discovered human side, whilst dealing with a casket-load of expectations from his tradition obsessed vampire dad, constant attempts to foil him from his suspicious brother, Vernon (Gabriel Nagy), and not always helpful advice from doting mum Valeeta (Sian Clifford), who is the only one in the family who knows his true identity.
Watching over the chaos from above are the castle's unmistakable gargoyles (Bill Bailey and Ross Noble, the ever-observant, stone-faced figures looming over the castle from their lofty perches. They feature in this preview clip introduced by Rush:
The gargoyles are not the only residents at the castle. Also lurking in the ancient keep are Wilf the Werewolf (Joe Wilkinson) and Igon (Asim Chaudhry) the much put-upon assistant to the vampire 'fang-ily', proving that co-habiting under one castle roof can be a real monster of a house share.
Meanwhile, leading the villagers' charge and ready to raise a little hell against the bloodsuckers is John (Charlie Cooper). At home he's supported by wife Susan (Esther Smith) and kept on his toes by daughter Gertie (Ellie-May Sheridan) who forms a friendship with Val.
The Reluctant Vampire will rise on BBC iPlayer and BBC One later this year.
