I get asked quite often how I attach the chopped vert grip to wood and Bakelite handguards so I decided to make a post about it. First you will need to start with a Mlok style vert grip and depending on the thickness of your handguard you might need to get longer screws. Once you decide where you want the vert grip mark where you want to drill the holes to line up with the holes in vert grip. When attaching the vert grip you will need the Magpul MOE flat nuts to go with the screws so that it provides more surface area to hold and also to clear a cleaning rod. Slide to the left to see what the inside looks like after it’s attached.
