Honestly I made this song in 2020. I released it in 2022 as a very different track. I’m rereleasing Lucid today to honor what was my favorite song when I first made it, and to open up in my music in a new way. This is the most emo I’ve been on a track. It’s also the most honest.

Lucid is not a song to feel good with your homies. this is for someone who’s felt their truth be rewritten, someone who’s been struggling to accept love, someone who’s struggled to move forward.

i released the first mix I’m proud of in june during the shift into cancer season. i was originally gonna try and be cool and lowkey about it but 3 months later I’m still feeling it but nobody’s heard it because I havent claimed it. so here she is 🙇🏽‍♀️🌺
