My life changed in 2025 ! 🥹Today I’m reminded 9 month isn’t long at all. I’m also reminded to cherish and honor time. It’ll go whether you honor it or not.

On June 7th 2025, in the morning while @thegreatgermain was at work, a random thought ran through my head while I was running errands... “ You should get a pregnancy test just in case.” It was “strange” but not really because we were actively trying to get pregnant and I felt like it’s was only right because I was going to a friends surprise dinner party and planned on having some drinks. I literally said sure ! I know I’m not pregnant 😅now that I’m reminiscing it sounds so silly ahaha

I had NO symptoms just a God prompting.

When I took the test it didn’t even take the full 3 mins to show the bright 2 lights and I was floored! My life had changed instantly.

I’ll never forget this Mother’s Day. I’ve been a mom for 20 years and this was the first one where I’m a mom of 2. The story has it that for a decade and a half I didn’t want any more children. Until 2020 when I left the mess behind me. Top of that year I knew I wanted to have more children later that year I met my husband. Not to mention I wanted a son. This year I live in my PRAYER & my YES 🩷🩵

Believe it or not I still miss L&D and the postnatal moments in the hospital.

Was it challenging? Y E S! Do I miss it? Y E S! …And I can’t explain it. Some thing about it all is just so gratifying… Similar to working out. You change your lifestyle to accommodate the needs of your body, you work hard, you ride the waves of pain, you push through and you reap a beautiful reward.

If you know me, you know I low key love challenges. I believe it’s why I’ve been a full time entrepreneur for almost 12 years, amongst other challenging things. It’s a good kinda crazy lol. I hate the anticipating tho… the thoughts leading up to the pain and suffering BUT when It all gets started, I become a beast. knowing I can get through it because it’s temporary. I’m competitive in that way.

This isn’t just for laboring this is my way of life. I’m not sure how I got this way but it is really how I am. I just got to get my mind and my body on the same page.

Would I do this again? Am I looking forward to it? Y E S! Hehe Both times I loved being pregnant, and that’s one of the easier parts but I also love who I become during labor and delivery and even more what it doesn’t my psyche when it’s all said and done and last and surely not least you get a beautiful human to love.

Proof of life …

I’m here, sometimes half asleep, in my feels, sweet moment are happening! I’ll share soon but just wanted to pop in to say hello🩵

We are still in the formative days of our night routine. Neo usually takes 3 naps during the day, and bedtime starts at 8pm. Now whether he goes down immediately or not is what we are working on. We bathe, moisturize, do a tummy time, sing laugh and dance til he goes to sleep. He wakes up twice in the middle of the night to eat and be changed. Most of the time he eats and goes right back to sleep. Lately he’s been a little more fussy but keeps the same energy.

He’s the sweetest little boy. He is laughing and smiling now and it stops me right in my tracks !

As you can tell I’m not ready to share his face online but If you see me in person I’d love to share of photo of his sweet smile ! Just ask 🩵

Where do I even start??

A short 8 weeks ago our lives changed forever. My perspective changed forever. I got more than I bargained for and I couldn’t have anticipated that.

I had a Dr appointment that morning, My contractions started around 1030pm, my water broke approximately 4 hours later and we went to the hospital shortly after.

During my L&D I experienced the beauty of community, grace and compassion… unadulterated H E L P. From my husband, daughter, sister, friend/doula, and all the staff at Boston Tufts medical Center.

This is where the story begins❣️
