Not because anyone asked. Not because I was getting paid.

Because the dream didn’t stop when the shift did.

I was a stand-in. There to mark positions for the camera.

But every moment the set wasn’t shooting — I was on the floor. Scripts out. Working.

People would walk by and ask when I was getting my own show.

I didn’t know. I just knew I couldn’t waste the moment.
