#TOWNHOUSEFashion witnessed twenty-four students from Chulalongkorn University presenting their collections at @outre.cu charged with the familiar intensity of young designers trying to define themselves all at once. Tailoring was distorted, silhouettes reimagined, romance collided with restraint, and craft was pushed just beyond control.

Some ideas arrived fully formed, while others were still searching. That tension is precisely what makes student showcases so compelling: fashion before compromise, before the industry teaches young designers how to refine their instincts without losing their voice.

#TOWNHOUSEFashion reviewed more than 150 looks that crossed the runway today for PHASE26 by @fash26swu @fash_swu. Youth in fashion always carries a particular electricity, the urgency to say everything at once before the world tells you otherwise.

What emerged was a collision of instincts. Tailoring pulled apart and rebuilt. Volumes inflated to improbable proportions. Fragments of romance, club dressing, streetwear, and ceremony all woven into the same conversation. Some collections overreached. Good. Fashion without excess ambition is rarely memorable.

The beauty of student showcases lies precisely there, in seeing ideas before they become polite. Before commerce smooths the edges. One look collapses under its own complexity, another suddenly lands with startling precision. A silhouette. A proportion. A gesture. The first signs of a designer discovering their own language.

Bangkok’s next generation is clearly no longer interested in asking for permission.

From Manila to Bangkok, the vision has always remained the same: to create spaces where Asian creativity, culture, and talent are seen, celebrated, and pushed forward beyond borders.

The past 5 months have been some of the most life-changing and meaningful moments I’ve ever experienced. Celebrating my birthday alongside the launch of my first solo exhibition in Bangkok felt surreal, especially surrounded by the people, stories, and community that helped shape this chapter with me. There was a moment during the night where I quietly looked around the room and realized how far life has taken me, from Manila to Bangkok, from burnout to feeling deeply inspired again.

To everyone who showed up, supported the exhibition, trusted me with your portraits, helped behind the scenes, shared kind words, or simply believed in my work and vision, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This milestone belongs not only to me, but to every person who became part of this journey. I’ll carry this chapter with me forever.
