Flowing. Moving. And working on diving into my deepest creative expressions and desires instead of just dipping my toes in and hoping not to disturb those around me. Get splashed!

Finally finished my Krampus wreath just in time for Krampusnacht!
I might change the bow, but overall I'm happy with how it turned out 🤗

Spooky season keeps on coming!

You are doing the best you can - And you need to do better.

I am on the path to diving deep within to rediscover and reacquaint myself with my sense of self. It is disorientating, painful, and requires so much energy. I embrace the growing pains.

It is scary to surrender myself to the process and have that deep trust in myself when I feel like I am someone I barely know. I offer myself compassion and self acceptance for who I am now and where I am at. I was doing the best I could - and now it's time to do better.

I allow myself to show up for myself.
Our default settings are to show up for everything else first. We respond to what's loudest or most urgent. Our own health often doesn't make that list.

I am shifting perspective. My health is a priority. It is foundational. It is maintenance. It is required to function on a more efficient baseline.

I am starting here - at the beginning (yet again) with my flexibility journey. It's not aesthetic or pretty. It's not shameful or evidence of failed dreams. It just is. I'm not allowing life to creep in and let "later" become never.

This is my accountability progress post - which brings me to this following list of skills (applies for lots of areas of life , not just silly trash goblins who want to be more bendy and not cry so much)

1. Schedule it
Pick exact days, times, locations. Be specific. Vague or tentative plans are easier to ignore.

2. Make it Visible
Put it on a calendar, set a reminder, leave a sticky note. Visual clues reduce mental clutter.

3. Pair it with an existing routine.
After coffee, after work, before our evening wind down. Habit stacking works because it removes friction.

4. Shrink the minimum
Don't aim for an hour. Aim for 30 min. Low resistance = higher follow through

5. Add accountability
When someone else expects us to show up, we are more likely to do it. Not because of guilt but because structure helps.

If you care about me you'll put laxatives in my coffee and duct tape the toilet lid closed if I don't make a progress post in one months time.
