Too much low end leaves you with room noise and mud that messes up your kick and bass. Too much of a cut leaves your vocals sounding paper-thin.

Here’s the simple trick:
1️⃣ Start with a low cut at 80 Hz to clear out the sub-bass rumble.
2️⃣ Slowly push the filter forward (120 Hz to 130 Hz in most cases).
3️⃣ Stop just before the vocal starts losing its natural body and warmth.

Every voice is different—some might need a cut up to 150 Hz, others less. It all comes down to ear training!
