Shaneβs absorption of his mamaβs βme timeβ has resulted in both his sitter and mother catching him self initiating deep breathing when frustrated or upset, which they now call βSara breathsββ so hereβs everyoneβs reminder to begin your day with some #sarabreaths β£οΈ
π«π§ #breathwork targets our nervous system; specifically the parasympathetic nervous systemβ the part of your brain that tells us whether we are anxious or safe triggering the fight, flight, or freeze response. Deep breathing gets more oxygen to the thinking brain. Oxygen provides ease, releases endorphins, and imitates the lymphatic system (ie detoxes the body which in turn benefits the immune system β€οΈβπ₯)
