I don't post much here but I started going over my truck and making some upgrades to the front suspension kit I built about 10yrs ago. Kit was originally mild steel like most production kits. As the truck has gotten faster over the years, I started chasing cracking or bent parts on the mild steel kit. So its now running reinforced chromoly uppers and spindles. Also upgraded from d44 hubs to BMS hubs i bought like 3yrs ago. No pictures but motor was rebuilt and got a few upgrades as well. Next is couple minor upgrades to the rear links

What's going on everyone! I'm stepping away from parts for a bit, but they won't be completely going away. I just haven't had the drive to build parts, especially as most know I hold a full-time job working on elevators in Los Angeles. The driving 3-4hrs a day to and from work had made it hard to keep pushing. So it's time to step back to regroup and come back when I got some energy. I used to enjoy building the tundra parts, but lately not so much. I have been working on this 4runner for the family the past month in my spare time. Im enjoying the custom stuff and working at my pace a little more.
So that's where things are changing on my end. I want to start doing a small video series similar to backyard fabricator about 15yrs ago. Will definitely be out of my comfort zone. I see so many badass build by shops like MCD, Izzy fab, Rj fab, etc. But they are not your average prerunner that we built back in the day. We are talking those are 100k+ builds all day. I want bring things back to our roots in the garage. Basic power tools, hand tools, and a welder in these videos show different tips and tricks on building things. Hopefully, some other fabricators can chime in and give some advice. I dont know it all, and sometimes there's an easier way.
If I can figure out how to swing it financially I'd love to eventually build a super budget prerunner, something a 18/19yr old could build in their parents garage or driveway with some wiy parts(more economical than prefabricated parts) and used parts off market place and swapmeets.I'm talking like early 90s ranger with some either @bakerfabrication or @giantmotorsports wiy beams or even parts off @diy_offroad. Obviously, build a solid little prerunner with some @deaver_suspension_inc springs out back but really watching that budget like we all started. Theres awesome online shops like @tmrcustoms or kartek to collect your builder parts to help with the budget. Just want to show you dont have to have deep pockets to build a prerunner and have fun along the way.
Hope to start with videos of assembling our shackle hangers and shackles as I plan to refine those to make them easy to assemble and a wiy setup.

Who would like to see some new products? I am looking to do some 4runner parts and tacoma parts in the near future. What would you like to see?

I dont post as much as I used to. But I'm still trying to crank out tundra hangers and shackles.As I am starting to get more of my tools set up again, I will be taking on a couple of custom projects. Rebuild a sand rail for a buddy I did a ton of work on a few years ago. Then, building parts for a 5th gen 4runner. Not a 100% if I will offer the long travel kit we plan to build for the 4runner and the rear suspension. I'm going to build with the intentions to offer it, but time will tell. I'd like to get my hands on a 2nd/3rd gen tacoma to do some bolt on hangers for @deaver_suspension_inc h70 leafs as well.#tundra #4runner #tacoma #deaversprings #bbmoffroad #baldbeavermotorsports

I dont consider myself a great fabricator. But I miss designing parts and trying to think out of the box. Hope to get to a point I can work on projects agains.
