Dehoga Goes Michelin at Bar Shuka
 
With Sterne über Frankfurt starting today, the annual festival celebrating some of the city’s most exciting kitchens and chefs,  we’re joining the Dehoga Michelin Campaign with a very tasty Bar Shuka goes Michelin Special.
 
For this dish, we took different components from our current menu and turned them into something completely new.
Flamed Char / Wild Garlic Myeongi / Labneh / Za’atar
Regional char, flamed over open fire. Paired with Korean pickled myeongi, fresh and bright with acidity. Labneh for balance. And our za’atar.
 
A dish that tells the Bar Shuka language in a slightly more refined way and translates the flavours and combinations our kitchen is known for into something a little more Michelin-worthy.
Pairs especially well with a glass of UMAMI Bubbles or a fresh Vermouth Soda.

Born in Sicily, Salvatore Dispensieri spent many years in Germany, where he led Tavola Calda in Schwenningen and Osteria No. 1 in Rottweil. Today he lives back in Sicily, where he produces his own olive oil.

Wir köcheln schon seit Längerem an einem unserer aufregendsten Projekte dieses Jahres. Nach der gestrigen Pressekonferenz können wir euch endlich das Baby präsentieren!
Mischpocha - The Art of Collaboration startet morgen im Jüdischen Museum Frankfurt.
 
From New York to Frankfurt: @miked von den Beastie Boys hat sich mit dem @juedischesmuseumffm, @ateliermarkgraph und der IMA Clique zusammengetan, um für dieses interdisziplinäre Ausstellungsprojekt herauszufinden was Familie heute bedeutet. 
 
Eine Gruppe von Menschen, die miteinander verwandt sind? Ein Freundeskreis, in dem alle dasselbe Lebensgefühl teilen? Community oder kreative Zusammenarbeit?

Entstanden ist eine interaktive Ausstellung mit internationaler Künstler:innen, visuell, popkulturell und bewusst zugänglich.

Wir von der IMA Clique & Agency haben das Rahmenprogramm konzipiert und kuratiert und damit entsprechend unseres Placemaking-Ansatzes Orte geplant, an denen genau dieser Kollaborationsgedanke zum Tragen kommt. Musik, Talks, Dinners, Workshops und Open-Air-Formate.

Wir packen Koffer, Fake Lashes und ein paar Energy Drinks ein, denn Drag Me To geht auf Tour!!!

Diesen Samstag starten wir mit Drag Me to the Suite beim The Nightmarket.
Zwischen Pop-up-Shopping, Workshops und der Jagd nach versteckten Experience Rooms lauert sie, die ultimative Drag Suite! Mit Shows, die dich kurz vergessen lassen, in welchem Zimmer Du gerade noch diese geilen Ohrringe gesehen hattest.

Eine Woche später dann: Drag Me to after Shabbes.
Statt Brunch geht’s diesmal mitten in die Nacht, mit Musik, hotten Shows und ordentlich Party. Also ordentlich.

Und der Highlighter auf der Schminkpalette: Drag Me to the Museum.
Wo sonst Schilder „Bitte nicht anfassen“ sagen, fliegen jetzt Perücken und Heels. Krasse Shows in einem mega Setting, in dem wahrscheinlich sogar die Statuen bisschen erröten werden.

Zum großen Finale erobert unsere Drag Me To Crew die Regenbogen Area beim Wäldchestag!

Chag Sameach, it’s Pesach!
The holiday of liberation, matzah, and family debates.

This year, we’re giving you the real inside scoop, straight from the original IMA herself, two days ago prepping for Passover.

Running the Bar Shuka kitchen like it’s her own while pots are boiling, onions are frying, commandments are flying (and poor staff trying to prep the evening in between lol)

She was prepping the classics. Chicken soup (yoich), chopped eggs, chopped liver, and a full Seder plate for family and a few lucky guests. Thirty people in total.

That’s why Bar Shuka became home this year.
Of course, she’s cooking and managing, giving orders and everyone follows with no negotiations.
Because you know, what’s Pesach without a proper Jewish mom holding it all together?

New buffet, eggs with attitude, a little bissele sweet, and a few charming things in between.

This Easter weekend we’re turning your breakfast into a little tasting celebration.
