Step aboard America’s tall ship!

The eagle will be offering free, public tours in every port call for their 2026 tour. For our second stop, we will be in Pensacola! We will be moored up near the Plaza de Luna memorial on Saturday, May 22nd in Pensacola, Florida. Public tour times are as follows:

* Saturday, May 23rd from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
* Sunday, May 24th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

No tickets are required to attend. We hope to see you there!

Almost every day while underway on Eagle, Cadets take part in basic damage control classes to teach them the skills needed to combat fire, flooding, and other casualties while underway. Today the focus was on basic fundamentals of firefightingsuch as hose handling, how to properly don an FFE, and setting up smoke curtains.

Today, cadets worked as a team to walk away the halyard and raise the upper yard arm to set the upper square sails. They also conducted a wear – changing the tack by turning down wind. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the Eagle is sailing again today!
