This piece is my interpretation of the year of the fire horse. I wanted to capture movement and energy. I chose a horse acting as a comet, cutting through space and time. The comet’s tail was a labor of love. When I was finished, a pile of paper stars were scattered all over the table and I am still finding tiny stars in my home.

This piece allowed me time to prepare myself for the year ahead and to set expectations for myself. I hope we all find the energy to move through this year with purpose.
