9.16.23 ~ One year ago today, we stood among tall trees and beloved humans and said yes, of course, this is forever. The joy that poured out of everyone who came and danced in a field below a waterfall in the woods – where despite a flood four days prior and a hurricane in the forecast we all grinned beneath the softest sunlight and gentlest breeze that seemed to whisper yes: there will always be wind and rain but from now on, you will have them and sometimes sunshine and always and forever each other.
