What a moment. We spend so much time working and working these projects and sometimes the dream comes true- which is why we keep doing it over and over again. This one spoke directly to the part of me that believes so much that each person has a story worth telling. Ours was one that took me back to the films that made me want to make films ...and to then premiere at Cannes, anointing us with the air of cinematic inspirations is something I will never forget. Thanks to the wildly dedicated group of people who made this.
And to the people who keep the jobs and live the lives that we put on screen, your keep is too well earned...you have my eternal reverence.
With the truest sincerity, I am humbled. And ready to start the work all over again
