Don’t you just love these weho typewriter pins? You can pick one up at any of in person Poetry Month events! Didn’t know it was poetry month? Just lift your head and you can see pictures and short poetry excerpts from poets on street pole banners along Santa Monica Boulevard (a project started by 1st poet laureate @stevenreigns).

Im very excited for a convo between Jen Cheng and Lee Herrick (who is the first Asian American to serve as State of California poet laureate since they started the program way back in 1915!)

I had a fun time helping make pots at House Mouse LA for Caro to fill with plants and sell to raise funds for her housing transition, after she was Ellised from her home.

A good day doing some cultural district networking and also got to see the fabulous Dolores Huerta exhibit at Plaza de la Raza and a little walkthrough with co-curator Glenna Avila. Today is Dolores’ 96 birthday and they are doing events to celebrate tonight and tomorrow.

No artist quite like Robert Therrien to remind me that I have to do some dishes. I used to hide under my parent’s kitchen table as a kid so his work really makes me feel safe. Truly fun show at the Broad. (And free on Thursday nights!) #latergram
