Twilight Trails 🌖
I love this type of photography. It feels like you’re painting a digital image but the vehicle is your brush. Here’s how to do it 👇🏼
Set up your tripod somewhere with a road leading through your composition. Roads with good curves or switchbacks are my favorites.
Shoot manual. Aperture around f/4 to f/11, ISO 100 or as low as you can, shutter speed somewhere between 5-20 seconds.
Time it for blue hour, that 15 to 20 minute window after sunset where the sky still has color but it’s dark enough for headlights to glow. Too early and the trails won’t show. Too late and the lack of sky/landscape visible will make it boring and blown out by car lights (my cover shot worked well because it was a full moon).
Press the shutter the second a car enters the frame. White lines come from headlights, red lines from taillights. The slower the car, the brighter the trail.
Save this for your next shoot 🙌🏼

Framing is what gives an image direction.
Light, lines, and surroundings Should be working together to pull the viewers eye towards the story.

Some places don’t just take your breath away they rearrange something deep inside you. Standing on the Giza Plateau, surrounded by monuments that have watched 4,500 years of human history unfold, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly small and incredibly grateful at the same time.
But what moves me most isn’t just the stone and the history it’s the people. The guides who speak about their ancestors’ legacy with fire in their eyes. The locals who wave you over and share tea with a stranger. The fellow travelers who cross your path for just a moment and somehow leave a mark that stays with you long after you’ve landed back home. Every person I’ve met on this journey has added something to who I am. That’s not something I take lightly.
I never imagined that picking up a camera would hand me a life like this one where I get to chase light across ancient wonders, document cultures that have shaped all of humanity, and call it work. The Pyramids. The Sphinx. A sky that turns molten gold at golden hour over structures built before most of recorded history. This place is proof that beauty is timeless.
To everyone who has ever supported, collaborated, cheered, or simply scrolled and hit that like button, you are part of this story too. Thank you for making the dream feel real every single day. 🙏🏽
